Our Web Development Course is very intense. To save time and nail it from the beginning, our students must complete the PrepWork on our custom-built platform before starting the bootcamp. This work takes around 40 hours and gives our students a basic knowledge of:
Developer tools
Work with the right developer tools and workflow. Learn the basics of Visual Studio and its integration with a version management tool. Familiarize yourself with the development environment and how to use the tool to maximize your efficiency.
Programming Basics in C#
Get exposed to basic coding constructs and structures such as assignment statements, variables, constants, decision-making statements, loops and arrays in C# console applications. You will understand when and why to apply these basic programming concepts and be better prepared for Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
OOP using C#
Learn the foundations of Object-Oriented Programming needed to progress to an intermediate-level C# developer. Work on interactive projects to leverage key object-oriented concepts such as abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism and interfaces.
Introduction to SQL
Learn Structured Query Language (SQL) for accessing and manipulating databases. Understand basic concepts of RDBS to develop database-driven web applications.
Start the journey of developing web applications via ASP.NET web forms. Build a basic understanding of the request and response lifecycle, along with the role of web servers. Furthermore, get equipped with the skills to design web applications based on architectural patterns using MVC Framework.
The Project phase is the ultimate experience of the course. Invent, pitch, design, code and deploy an original project in teams of 3-4 people during the two final weeks. Go through the entire process – from coming up with the idea to delivering the live app in production with a real domain name, reeady to be used by actual end users!
