3,000 CureMD Customers Earn PQRS Incentives
New York, NY. 12/18/2014CureMD, the leading Cloud based EMR, Practice Management and Revenue Optimization provider announced today that the company has helped nearly 3,000 eligible professionals (EPs) in meeting requirements of Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). PQRS, CMS incentive program, offers incentive payments and payment adjustments to encourage eligible professionals to report quality information.
EPs as well as group practices have to report data on quality measures for covered Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) services scheduled for Medicare Fee-for-Service to qualify for PQRS program. EPs and group practices that do not report or participate in the 2014 PQRS program year will be subject to a payment penalty in 2016. Beginning 2015, the program also applies a payment adjustment to EPs who do not satisfactorily report data on quality measures for covered professional services.
CureMD PQRS system includes claim based reporting, interactive KPI dashboard and data mining reports to help monitor quality progress. The system is supported by CureMD quality program consultants who work tirelessly to help eligible providers earn incentive payments by training them in the PQRS program, create specialty based measures and provide assistance with data capturing and performance tracking for these measures. These products and services make it easier for healthcare organizations and individual providers to comply with the PQRS requirements.
CureMD CEO, Bilal Hashmat reiterated the company’s approach towards quality programs. He said, “Our aim is to help providers adopt quality mandates though effective products and skilled consulting services to achieve greatest benefits and convenience.”
