CureMD Emergency Medicine EMR is designed for physicians and staff that encounter acutely ill patients (hazmat patients, toxic syndromes and critically injured). The system supports treatment planning, clinical alerts, decision support, knowledge base, document imaging and data libraries. In addition to disease management templates, device interoperability and workflow automation tools that deliver complete and instant access to life saving information, enabling you to address stressful events efficiently.

Triage / Initial Assessment: Built-in Triage forms help providers to prioritize patients that are prone to early clinical deterioration. The patient precedence protocols are defined on the basis of advanced trauma life support approach, which is a standard approach followed by the emergency care settings (life-threatening conditions are identified and addressed in the order of their risk potential).

Rapid Data Collection: The system allows rapid data (clinical and administrative) collection through template driven, click and choose options (can be customized during implementation).

Vitals Collection Templates: These templates enable the staff to quickly document patient vitals such as blood loss, pulse rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, mental state and urine output.

Procedure Codes: The built-in procedures (CPT) codes enable providers to follow the right procedures according to the patient’s apparent clinical conditions, without wasting any time at all.

ECG Management: The integrated ECG management system enables providers to digitize ECG objects and store patient ECG data directly into the EMR.

Device Interoperability: The system has the ability to interface with clinical devices from all major vendors for automatic exchange of clinical data into the EMR. These devices include ventilator monitor, pulse oximeter and other similar devices.

Subsequent Patient Encounter Documentation: This documentation is completed after the patient’s condition is stabilized. The system provides component based auto notes to document different clinical conditions including the patient's history, physical exams, medications, allergies and reports from prehospital personnel and from family members.

Angiography (Image Management): module enables providers to capture, scan and attach images, photographs, x-rays and medical drawings demonstrating areas of active bleeding, or other critical conditions directly into the EMR.

Lab Orders & Results: Place lab orders and receive results electronically, within minutes to make further treatment plans immediately.

Consultation Letters to Referring Providers: Manage referrals and electronically transmit consultation letters to referring providers who will proceed with detailed treatment plans derived from the initial assessment.

Data Mining Reports: The system provides 150 reports, providing you the information you need for quick and accurate decision making. For example an end of day summary report will give you exact details on how many patients had come for emergency visits, number of procedures done and the financial information related to those patients.
