Client Hosted Installation - Bandwidth
Each practice requires high speed bandwidth with Static IP's. Before the practice places an orders for the hardware, bandwidth order needs to be placed first. Please check the location if it qualifies for Static IP for the SERVER. You can check this by going to any of the DSL provider's web site. If you require any assistance please contact support@curemd.com.
Data Migration
How much information may be pre-loaded via interface to existing applications?
Physicians, caregiver information, patient demographics, short list, formularies, insurance, schedule, etc., may be preloaded. Line item charges are not offered with the migration.
Do you plan to scan in paper files?
Scanning is a costly process that can require huge amounts of memory and is far less useful than having the information in the SQL server database. CureMD is providing more than just an electronic version of the paper chart. CureMD is a clinical tool as well as a historical record of the patient encounter. You do, however, have the option of scanning existing paper charts and attaching it to the patient record. This can be done by office staff, or outsourced to one of our preferred vendors.
Implementation/Support
Who will be responsible for the installation, support, and on-going maintenance?
CureMD directly provides all the services and support without third party involvement except when large value added resellers are deployed for onsite services.
Can you guarantee no downtime?
Yes, CureMD offers strong service level agreement (part of your End User License Agreement) to ensure you always have access to the system.
We strongly recommends a UPS for the server for power failures. The technical services department can recommend a backup recovery plan that will facilitate data recovery. This plan includes mirrored hard drives, DAT backup tapes with a good rotation system, and off-site archiving. For more complete coverage against component failure, you will want to have a server with a RAID system and hot swap capability. You can also maintain backup sites to guard against site disaster.
What are your response times if I have a problem?
All users have access to phone support during normal business hours.
How much training is necessary to learn CureMD?
Most users can learn to use the basic functions of CureMD in 2 to 3 online or onsite sessions. The trainers focus on each module thoroughly in these role based sessions.
Who will provide training?
CureMD Certified Trainers provide standard training, for custom training programs please contact your support representative.
Can CureMD interface with Clinical Laboratories?
CureMD is already connected with dozens of national and local labs for full duplex lab connectivity (orders and results).
